Castle Rock Hawk & Colorado Mountain Bluebird

Castle Rock Hawk & Colorado Mountain Bluebird photos. Located below please view the gallery of Photos of Castle Rock Hawk – Colorado Mountain Bluebird. We were very fortunate to spot the Ferruginous Hawk in Castle Rock during an early morning hike. The photos of the Hawk over the Rock were taken on two separate days in June 2016. In the first set of photos he was perched atop a tall Colorado Pine Tree, likely scouting for breakfast. The second set of photos we found him perched lower to the ground on one the may split rail fences in the area. The beautiful small Colorado Mountain Bluebird was photographed after a snow on March 27, 2016 (first week of Spring).
