Colorado Sunflower Photos: Located below is a Gallery of Sunflowers photographed in Colorado on August 10, 2013. The field of Colorado Sunflowers is located in Commerce City Colorado. This afternoon we were surrounded dramatic white puffy clouds filled with moisture that lent to scenic vistas. We also took advantage of the rows of power lines near the field to capture the power lines set against the dramatic cloudy skies.

Colorado is known as one of the top-five sunflower producers in the Unites States and are exported all over the world. The seeds produced by Colorado sunflower farmers are larger than most and are especially enjoyed in Spain.
