Never Summer Mountains Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado

Photos of Never Summer Mountains Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado. These images of the Never Summer Range in Rocky Mountain National Park were captured on a spring morning. The first image on this page is taken from a meadow near the park entrance on the west side. In this photo you can see a herd of Elk grazing in a Kawuneeche Valley meadow. The Gore Range is a majestic backdrop to this scene. As we drove along Trail Ridge Road the skies began to change and white puffy clouds began to form. Sunlight filtering the clouds, created the dramatic and dappled light in these pictures. We made a few stops along Trail Ridge Road taking photos each time. One stop was the Bowen/Baker Trailhead as well as the Fairview Curve Overlook on Trail Ridge Road. These photos were taken on June 16, 2019 between 5:37am and 10:59am.
