Photos of Colorado River with Baker Mountain in Kawuneeche Valley

Photos of Colorado River with Baker Mountain in Kawuneeche Valley at Rocky Mountain National Park. These images were captured on a photography trip to the Colorado River in Kawuneeche Valley. This area is located on West Side of Rocky Mountain National Park. Our goal of this photo shoot was to capture a beautiful sunrise over Baker Mountain with the Colorado River. While on location, the sky erupted in a truly fiery sunrise. The clouds over the peaks burst into bright colors reflecting into the river below. It literally appeared as though the sky was on fire. These photos of the Colorado River and Baker Mountain were taken on July 27, 2018 between 5:29am and 6:19am. The west side of the park is known to be one of the most green and lush areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.
