Photos of Denver Colorado Skyline from City Park at Sunrise. These images were captured just before sunrise at City Park in Denver Colorado. The sweeping views of the Front Range Mountains are illuminated by the purple light of an early morning sunrise. Colorado’s Front Range Mountains act a perfect backdrop for The Mile High City. Denver City Park is home to the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and more. These photos were captured in the Fall on September 24, 2018 between 6:25am and 6:58am.

Denver Skyline at City Park Motion Graphic Video
This video animation of Sunrise over the Denver City Skyline was created using special software. This motion graphic software utilizes a still photograph and creates animated vectors within the image file. The resulting video file is called a Plotagraph. This is similar to a Cinemagraph but uses one still image vs. using native video footage to create the final result.

The following camera gear was used in the Architectural Photography of the Denver Colorado Skyline at City Park:
- a Nikon D850,
- the Really Right Stuff L-Bracket for the Nikon D850,
- F-Stop Gear Aloe Green Tilopa 50L Back Pack (with large Pro ICU),
- a Really Right Stuff TVC 34L tripod,
- with a Really Right Stuff BH-50 LR Ballhead,
- and a Nikkor AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens.
More details for our pre-dawn photos of Denver. The photo to the right was taken toward the end of our session just as the purple magenta light of sunrise illuminated the morning clouds to the south. These photos were all taken on the Really Right Stuff TVC 34L tripod. The D850 exposures for the images averaged between 1.6 seconds to 1/5 of a second at f/8 and f/11. The D850’s native ISO of 64 was used. Adobe Lightroom Classic CC is our Digital Asset Management and development software of choice. Most of these images are single exposures in the RAW format while two of them are blends of 3-5 photos to create a DNG HDR file. Some of them were finished using Luminar’s AI module to add a little extra pop.
