The annual Zoo Lights in Denver Colorado are the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest lighting event. This year the event has increased from 40 acres to 70 acres of Denver Zoo’s campus. The Zoo Light event encompasses nightly entertainment, live animal demonstrations, and an appearance of Santa. There are more than 150 illuminated and animated animal sculptures. The event runs from December 4, 2015 until January 3, 2016.
