Photos of Lake Isabelle Colorado Waterfalls and Streams. These images are the result of an early morning hike to Lake Isabelle made during the summer. On the way back from photographing Lake Isabelle in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, we came across a number of waterfalls and streams. The images on this page were captured on our hike back out of the wilderness area. This area is known as the the Brainard Lake Recreation Area. The Indian Peaks Wilderness and Brainard Lake Recreation Area is the most popular destination in the Boulder Ranger District. This is accessed from the The Pawnee Pass Trail. The Pawnee Pass Trail is a 5.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Ward, Colorado.
