Here you will find photos of RMNP with Terra Tomah, Longs Peak, Mount Ida and the Never Summer Range. These photographs were taken from an area along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. This morning we were treated to an amazing and dramatic weather effect called an inversion. With an inversion it is foggy and raining at lower elevations while being clear at higher elevations with clouds even higher. The sunrise above the inversion painted the clouds in colorful pinks, oranges, yellows and purples. This inversion at Rocky creates a spectacular heavenly realm and is amazing to behold. These photos of Rocky Mountain National Park were taken on October 4, 2018 between 6:35am and 8:33am.

Motion Graphic Video of Inversion at Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado
This video animations of Terra Tomah (first video) and Mount Ida were created using special software. This motion graphic software utilizes a still photograph and creates animated vectors within the image file. The resulting video file is called a Plotagraph. This is similar to a Cinemagraph but uses one still image vs. using native video footage to create the final result.

The following camera gear was used in the Colorado Landscape Photography of Terra Tomah, Longs Peak, Mt Ida & Never Summer Range in Rocky Mountain National Park:
- a Nikon D850 with a Really Right Stuff L-Bracket,
- a Nikon Z7 with a L-Bracket,
- an Apple iPhone XS Max,
- F-Stop Gear Aloe Green Tilopa 50L Back Pack (with large Pro ICU),
- a Really Right Stuff TVC 34L tripod,
- with a Really Right Stuff BH-50 Ballhead,
- a Nikkor AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.
- a Nikkor AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm S lens,
- and a AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens.
These autumn photos were all taken on the Really Right Stuff TVC 34L tripod. The Z7 and D850 exposures for the images average between 15 seconds and 1/125 of a second at f/10 and f/11. ISO of settings on D850 and Z7 were set to the native ISO of 64. The panoramic photo located in the main banner is created by stitching 12 Vertical images together in Adobe Lightroom Classic CC. We also used Skylum’s Luminar AI Filters to give some of the photos an extra pop of color and contrast. The Black and White photo of Hayden Spire was created using Adobe Lightroom Classic CC as well as DXO’s Silver Efex Pro 2.
