Victor Colorado Pictures – Goldmines and Downtown

Victor Colorado Pictures: Located above is a photo of the old Masonic Lodge in Downtown Victor Colorado. The photos on this page were taken in the Fall of 2012 on September 29th. Victor Colorado is located at nearly 10,000 feet on the southwest side of Pikes Peak, in the Cripple Creek Victor Mining District. This mining town is located on the side of Battle Mountain in a unique setting of 1890’s structures and turn-of-the-century architecture. We have also included several Black and White photos of the old Colorado Gold mines that now dot the landscape. Mining continues today under the ownership of AngloGold Ashanti, which produced about 250,000 troy ounces of gold in 2012.
